Elegant, romantic, timeless—these are the words J+R used to describe their dream wedding florals. Using lisianthus, dahlias, foxglove, and draping baptisia foliage, we were able to achieve this aesthetic while also using 100% locally grown flowers. I sometimes local flowers can be equated with barn weddings or wildflowers in mason jars in the minds of couples wanting elegant florals. They think you need roses to create this elegant aesthetic. But I think J+R prove that local flowers can in fact be elegant, romantic, and timeless!
